Hey, I'm Gio, Vice-Chairman of the SQ Board 2010. I am 100% Italian and was born in Italy but like the other board members and many of you, I grew up in a rather large variety of countries. I am 25 years old and I have 8 years of working experience behind me, mostly in Hotels or Cruise ships but also as driver, mechanic, PR, Tour Operator, Travel Agent, animator, marketing manager trainee, and many other random jobs…

I attended different schools in different countries, all more or less about Tourism and Hospitality, this is one of the reasons I decided to round everything off by coming to the HDH.

This is my 2nd year here in Holland, the integration works just fine, apart of the language, that cannot really find its place in my brain; I am the only board member that doesn’t speak Dutch, however I compensate it with Italian, German, Spanish and a bit of Polish and Arabic.

I have quite a busy life; I really believe on the importance of connections and I spend a lot of time working on mine, I also chose this school to enlarge my network.

Like all of you, I love to party. I also love sports, travelling and videogames actually anything that distracts me from school's stuff...

I am highly motivated and believe that, together with this new SQ Board, this year we will make the difference!!! ;
